They throw us on the spires of dark deeds of a fallen world.
The place is full of darkness and evil.

It slithers to us, slick and shady.
Quick tongue lapping at our ears.
Lie after lie fed to us.

There is one thing though.
It vanquishes the beast of oppression.
Grabs its face and muzzles its lips.
One thing that spreads light to the darkest night.
Something to wrap its arms around us.

It picks us up when we are so trampled that we thought getting up was out of the question.
It is there when we are lost.
